We are currently hiring for construction labor/painters in the Arlington VA area. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience painting in a commercial setting preferably on highway or road crews. Working 40-60 hours per week.
Pay begins at $18-21 per hour DOE
.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for blasting and painting
- Remove contaminants and properly mask areas not being treated
- Apply industrial coatings using sprayers, brushes, and rollers
- Maintain equipment to ensure effective performance and quality results
- Ensure proper coating thickness, finish consistency, and coverage
- Inspect completed work for quality and perform touch-ups as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE
- 2+ years of experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting
- Able to travel locally as needed
- Your own reliable transportation
- PPE
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
