About the Position:

Fort Myer is a 15 minute commute to/from the Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station, a 10-15 minute commute to/ from the Rosslyn, Virginia Metro Station, and is accessible by bus transportation. The installation is approximately 7 miles from Washington D.C.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

One year specialized experience includes;
1) Performing physical security surveys and inspections to assess facility safeguards and security systems;
2) Reviewing construction and renovation plans to ensure required physical security measures are incorporated
3) Preparing reports and advising leadership on findings and corrective actions to protect facilities and sensitive assets. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
