We need an experienced front end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems by collaborating with a development team to build production‑grade applications with user‑centric design.

On our team, you’ll coordinate UI/UX designers and back‑end developers to create a seamless user experience using JavaScript frameworks. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. You Have:

• 4+ years of experience using NodeJS for front‑end tooling, building pipelines, and server‑side rendering
• Experience in evaluating architectural tradeoffs and designing robust, scalable front‑end component architectures, including state management, performance considerations, and UI modularity
• Experience with consuming and integrating RESTful APIs within front‑end applications, including implementing JWT‑based authentication flows
• Experience using Git with Git Hub or Git Lab in a Git Ops workflow for distributed version control and collaborative software development
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow or UX/UI problems
• Ability to write comprehensive front‑end test suites using tools like Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience in software engineering, or Bachelor's degree in a CS field with 4+ years of experience in software engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Type Script for enhancing front‑end type safety and application maintainability
• Experience with React ecosystem tooling for front‑end development such as Tan Stack or React Query, Vite, shadcn or ui, or Recharts.js
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
