Senior Backend Engineer

A mission-driven data analytics startup based in Washington, DC is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their growing team.
This role is 5 days onsite in Washington, DC. Please do not apply if you are not local to the area.

They boost fundraising for political campaigns and nonprofit organizations that otherwise lack the capital to create sizeable social impact. This company is currently building a new B2B SaaS, leveraging their vast database of 20M+ past donors.

Candidates who are interested in working on a highly collaborative startup team that are passionate about working with progressive and non-profit organizations will thrive in this role.

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Ability to come onsite 5 days a week in DC
• Proficiency with Python, Apache Airflow, and Graph
  
  QL.
• Experience setting up/optimizing cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and/or non-relational databases

• Demonstrated use of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience bringing a product from 0 to 1.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
