Title
Brilliant Back End Software Engineer (2+ years - Senior Level)
LocationsArlington, VA, Reston, VA and areas throughout the DMV area
Onsite ExpectationsMUST be willing to go onsite 2-3 days per week; could be up to 5 days per week as the customer needs.
ClearanceMUST have an Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities- Work with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers to accomplish their missions.
- Develop cloud‑native full‑stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and machine learning capabilities.
- Apply proven, repeatable software, technical, and analytical approaches to build solutions and frequently interact with end users to produce and deploy solutions.
- Exceptional full‑stack engineering experts from diverse technical and experience backgrounds.
- Motivated engineers at all levels (minimum 1.5 years of professional experience) who require limited direction and are passionate about technology.
- Willingness and desire to learn new technologies or languages quickly.
- Proficient in at least one core coding language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Golang.
- Experience developing open‑standard APIs (REST or Graph
QL) using a framework such as FastAPI or Spring Boot. - Proficient with at least one database system such as Postgre
SQL, MySQL, or Elasticsearch. - Experience with Linux distributions such as Debian, Red Hat, or Alpine.
- Experience with SDLC tools including JIRA, Confluence, Git Lab, Git Hub, and Bit Bucket.
- Experience with Docker‑based development and containerization.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies, tools, and processes, with a proven history of picking up new skills as project needs evolve.
- Experience working in classified government environments or willingness to work at classified government sites as needed.
- Experience developing on macOS, Windows, or Linux.
- Testing libraries such as Pytest or JUnit.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab CI.
- Deployment tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, or Ansible.
- Data processing tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Redis, or Celery.
- Experience with server configuration of NGINX, Apache, HAProxy, or Traefik.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Machine learning tools such as PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers, and CoreNLP.
- Dependency management tools such as Poetry, uv, Pipenv, or Maven.
- Experience with large language models and associated servers such as Ollama or Llama.cpp.
