Clearance: U.S. Citizenship Required. DHS EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS Final Suitability.

Dev Technology is looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our dynamic team and drive mission-critical applications that support government initiatives. You will be at the forefront of developing, deploying, and maintaining these applications, working in a scaled agile environment and leveraging Dev Sec Ops  practices.

• Use Java, C++, and Go language development experience to develop, deploy, and maintain mission‑critical applications.
• Provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases, engaging with users to define scope and objectives and contributing to design decisions.
• Work on new development and re‑engineering efforts, making system design decisions.
• Implement enhancements, coordinate with other developers working in parallel, and perform QA/test as needed.
• Provide software development services on all tiers (UI, Java, Oracle).
• Perform database programming using SQL.
• Apply test‑driven development practices.
• Use a Scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development.
• Travel approximately three times per year to Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica to work with local governments on biometric system setups.

• DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java and/or C++ programming languages.
• Experience with GoLang and Java programming languages.
• Proficiency with Dev Ops tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven.

• Experience implementing and configuring Dev Ops solutions.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $72,000–$105,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. Salary could fall outside of this range.
