Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, DevOps

As a Software Engineer in this role, you will drive the development of distributed backend services and robust APIs that form the backbone of a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture. Your work will directly support the acceleration of operational AI adoption, enabling mission applications, enterprise AI governance, agentic AI systems, and scalable software delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and distributed systems to support enterprise AI operations
• You will be responsible for building and maintaining microservices that integrate seamlessly with cloud‑native platforms, ensuring continuous monitoring and high reliability across all operational workflows, and building and optimizing APIs and event‑driven architectures for scalable and reliable data flow
• Develop Kubernetes‑native and cloud‑native applications for robust, production‑grade deployments
• Integrate and leverage technologies such as Rust, Go, Python, Type Script, Django, NATS, Kafka, Redis, Click House, Open Telemetry, Open Router, and LiteLLM
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to accelerate operational AI adoption using a modern Hub‑and‑Spoke architecture
• Support integration of AI, Dev Sec Ops , data engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and observability into mission‑focused workflows
• Implement continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery pipelines
• Contribute to the development of agentic AI systems and enterprise AI governance solutions
• Ensure high standards of security, reliability, and performance across all backend services and platform microservices

• Experience in backend microservices, distributed systems, and event‑driven architectures, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Rust, Go, Python, and Type Script
• Experience with cloud‑native engineering practices and API development
• Exposure to enterprise‑scale AI operations and mission‑driven software delivery

• Experience in a fast‑paced and mission‑focused environment, requiring close collaboration with teams specializing in AI, Dev Sec Ops , data engineering, platform engineering, and cybersecurity
• Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as Django, NATS, Kafka, Redis, Click House, Open Telemetry, Open Router, and LiteLLM will be highly advantageous when designing and implementing scalable, observable, and secure solutions
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
  Django, NATS, Kafka, Redis, Click House, Open Telemetry, Open Router, and LiteLLM

• US Citizen
• An active TS/SCI clearance is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the following states:
California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position is $86,400—$176,200 USD.
