POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team supporting our OMEGA program. In this role you will design, develop, and implement customized solutions to support security across the Salesforce platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and compliance and protecting our Veterans' data.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in Salesforce development
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, functionality, and data integrity
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, solutions, and configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members including business analysts, project managers, and other developers
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex and Lightning development
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, SOQL, and SOSL
- Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) is a strong plus
- Proven track record of successful Salesforce project delivery in a collaborative team environment
Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
