Work You'll DoAs a Software Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for...
* Break down business and technical requirements into structured tasks, prompts, and validation criteria for AI agent teams.
* Orchestrate delivery activities across architecture, development, quality assurance, user experience, and technical documentation workflows.
* Validate AI-generated outputs for code quality, security, compliance, and release readiness before merge or deployment.
* Coordinate end-to-end software development lifecycle activities, including requirements, build, integration, testing, and release support.
* Support GPS client engagements by accelerating delivery of technology modernization work in public sector environments.

Required:

* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering, software architecture, quality engineering, site reliability engineering, or Dev Ops
* 2+ years of experience with generative artificial intelligence tools, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted software delivery workflows
* Experience using integrated development environments, version control systems, and software delivery tools
* Experience with software development life cycle activities including requirements, design, development, testing, and release
* Experience validating technical deliverables against quality, security, or compliance requirements
* Ability to travel 10-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.### Preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
* Experience supporting government technology modernization programs
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
* Experience with test automation frameworks and release validation processes
* Experience documenting technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
