Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with experienced cross‑disciplinary Amazon engineers to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
- Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault‑tolerant, low‑cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality software.
- 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
The base salary range for this position is $168,100 – $227,400 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and additional compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
