Test Automation Software Engineer

The Opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your software engineering expertise in a high impact role? We’re rapidly building and launching capability for enterprise‑web based systems in the cybersecurity field. We need a Test Automation Software Engineer to transform the way we execute quality assurance.

You’ll be responsible for understanding system functionality and test cases in depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability. You’ll analyze existing test automation software against the latest industry advancements in technology to design and recommend new solutions. You’ll determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in testing. You’ll operationalize automation across a team of developers, manual testers, and automated testers.

• 3+ years of experience fielding production systems on web application development teams
• 3+ years of experience with programming, including Python, JavaScript or Type Script, and C# or .NET
• 3+ years of experience with Agile development tools, including Git, Jira, or Wikis
• Experience with software engineering and quality assurance of complex web applications
• Experience with test frameworks, including Selenium or Playwright, and test automation in CI/CD, including Jenkins or Git Hub Actions
• Experience with web‑based user interfaces, REST APIs, and databases
• Knowledge of complex web‑based application functions, modules, integrations, or data
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies, design technical solutions, make recommendations, and collaborate with testing and development teams
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with SQL, Windows Server, IIS, Containers, and Linux
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and Git Ops
• Experience with security tools, including Git Hub CodeQL or Static Code Analysis
• Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
