Senior Software Engineer

The Amazon Web Services EC2 team located in Herndon, VA is actively recruiting for experienced Senior Software Engineers interested in working on two new projects we announced at re:invent;
Outpost and Wavelength. Outpost brings native AWS services, infrastructure, and operation models to virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility. Wavelength brings AWS services to the edge of the 5G network, minimizing the latency to connect to an application from a mobile device. These are exciting, challenging new products that have the potential to re-define the industry. As a member of the team, you will:

• own system architecture and development for product initiatives and feature development
• learn and develop global web services, at scale
• work with diverse teams throughout Amazon to deliver compute at the edge
• build the future and have fun doing it
