Design Technologist

At Accenture Federal Services, we’re modernizing a large federal data platform and need a designer who knows how things get built. This role sits between design and engineering and helps translate wireframes and mockups into working prototypes and products.

• Prototype and build interactive workflows that bridge design intent and technical implementation.
• Maintain and extend design system libraries and templates so they hold up in code.
• Work directly with designers, analysts and developers to ensure designs are accurate and buildable.
• Build and configure within low-code/no-code platforms as part of the delivery workflow.
• Support product quality across the delivery cycle, from usability checks to accessibility and QA.
• Adapt quickly to new tools and platforms as the technical environment evolves.

• 4 years working at the intersection of design and front‑end development.
• Solid design sensibility, comfort working within a shared design system.
• Working understanding of HTML/CSS and enough front‑end fluency to assess design feasibility.
• Experience with low‑code/no‑code authoring tools.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools like Figma, Miro, and Confluence at a team‑wide or enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with UCD/HCD or design thinking concepts.
• Comfort switching between different platforms and tools.

• Experience on a large‑scale federal IT program.
• Experience with Service Now UI Builder or similar enterprise low‑code platforms.
• Experience delivering code.
• Familiarity with SAFe delivery.

Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position.
