Remote (USA-based, some travel) | Arlington, VA (W2) About the Role Join the Agentic AI platform's mission-critical team as a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will architect and deliver high-impact, real-time user interfaces for federal clients leveraging React/Next.js, Type Script, and microservices. You'll shape the next generation of AI-enabled, streaming web applications for agentic systems, directly influencing federal digital transformation.

Work remotely with a collaborative, AI-assisted engineering culture that values code quality, inclusion, and end-to-end ownership. Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize scalable, reusable React component libraries and design systems for AI/agentic interfaces.

- Develop streaming, event-driven UIs using Server-Sent Events (SSE) or Web Sockets, ensuring real-time performance and reliability.

- Integrate frontend with microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms to maintain seamless data flow, security, and system health.

- Own visualization of tool-calls, lineage, and traces for live agent execution, focusing on usability and accessibility.

- Champion automated testing with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, and TDD for robust, production-grade software.

- Document technical designs, build tools, and developer workflows to support modern Dev Sec Ops  practices.

- Mentor junior team members and drive code reviews to uphold engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate cross-functionally in agile teams, balancing new features with technical debt and system performance. Required Skills and Experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph (MANDATORY).

- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in software engineering, emphasizing modern web app development.

- Expert-level React, Type Script, and responsive UI/UX development skills.

- Hands-on experience with real-time streaming data, event-driven interfaces (SSE, Web Sockets), and state management.

- Proficiency integrating frontend with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and backend microservices.

- Strong background in automated testing (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, TDD) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of Git workflows and secure software delivery.

- Experience building accessible web applications (WCAG standards). Preferred Skills
- Professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Contributions to large-scale design systems and performance monitoring (Lighthouse, Web Vitals).

- Exposure to GraphQL, Serverless, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with distributed tracing (Open Telemetry) and AI/agentic, long-running system frontends.

- Consulting or XP/Pair Programming backgrounds.
