This role offers the opportunity to work across the full stack, contribute to application modernization, and help deliver scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript practices.
- Create reusable front-end components and support clean, scalable application architecture.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.
- Work with relational databases such as SQL Server to design, optimize, and troubleshoot data solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance issues across the user interface, APIs, and database layers.
- Support cloud-based application development and modernization efforts in AWS environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches, development standards, and delivery priorities.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows, Dev Sec Ops practices, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution as needed.
- Continuously look for ways to improve maintainability, scalability, security, and development efficiency.
- 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component-based development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Type Script.
- Experience building backend applications with Python and FastAPI.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server or other enterprise relational databases.
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Ability to diagnose and improve application performance across multiple layers of the stack.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to infrastructure as code and cloud automation tools.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning solutions.
- Knowledge of secure development practices and application security principles.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a focus on code quality and long-term maintainability.
