Workflow Automation Developer
GCyber is seeking a Workflow Automation Developer to digitize and improve mission and business processes for a federal customer. You will create secure applications, forms, business rules, task routing, approvals, notifications, escalations, audit trails, and exception-handling capabilities that replace manual, email-driven, or spreadsheet-based work. We welcome candidates from low-code development, application development, business-process automation, case management, CRM, workflow configuration, and custom software backgrounds.
Deep experience with one comparable platform can transfer even if the customer ultimately selects a different product. As the Workflow Automation Developer, you will
- Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automated workflows, applications, forms, business rules, approvals, notifications, and case-management capabilities.
- Translate user stories, process maps, requirements, and acceptance criteria into intuitive, secure, supportable, and maintainable solutions.
- Configure roles, permissions, validation rules, exception paths, audit history, and integrations with data sources and external systems.
- Develop reusable components and follow platform governance, application lifecycle management, version control, configuration management, and secure-development practices.
- Collaborate with mission users, Business Analysts, integration and data teams, testers, administrators, architects, and security personnel.
- Conduct unit and integration testing, debug issues, resolve defects, document solutions, and support deployment, user acceptance, and production stabilization.
Minimum Requirements and Experience
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Current DoD 8140/8570-compliant baseline certification appropriate to the assigned position, such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, or another approved credential.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in workflow automation, low-code development, application configuration, case management, CRM development, software development, or a related discipline; equivalent education, training, certifications, and experience will be considered.
- Experience building or configuring applications, forms, workflows, business rules, or approval processes on at least one modern platform.
- Working knowledge of application lifecycle management, data, integrations, testing, security roles, troubleshooting, and maintainability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal or DoD customers and Agile or Dev Sec Ops delivery teams.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure Logic Apps, Service Now, Appian, Pega, Salesforce, or comparable workflow and low-code platforms.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, C#/.NET, SQL, REST APIs, Git, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD, or platform-specific application lifecycle management.
- Relevant Microsoft, Service Now, Appian, Pega, Salesforce, or comparable platform certification.
