Job DescriptionMid-Level Service Now Developer Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Mid-Level Service Now Developer to support a federal program focused on the Ginnie Mae platform. This role operates within a 100% remote environment and is responsible for developing and enhancing Service Now solutions across the Service Now platform. The position requires experience supporting Service Now development and delivery from approved user stories through testing phases within a mission-driven environment.

Remote Responsibilities
- Build and configure Service Now solutions from approved user stories through QA, SIT, and UAT
- Perform Service Now platform configuration and customizations, including packaging update sets for promotion across environments
- Develop workflows and build integrations using APIs and MID Servers
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, user-story discussions, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
- Provide story assessments and sizing
- Conduct developer-led unit testing and debug defects
- Contribute to peer code reviews and architecture reviews
- Mentor teammates on efficient coding practices
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 3-5 years of Service Now development experience
- Strong knowledge of the Service Now platform, including architecture, core tables, roles, configurations, customizations, and update sets
- Experience developing solutions from approved user stories through QA, SIT, and UAT
- Ability to develop workflows and integrations using APIs and MID Servers
- Experience conducting unit testing, debugging defects, estimating and sizing stories, and participating in code and architecture reviews
- Solid Agile/Scrum experience, including active participation in sprint ceremonies, user-story discussions, and backlog grooming
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must work Eastern Time hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Experience with multiple Service Now modules
- Experience with ITSM
- Experience with CSM and ITOM/CMDB
- Experience with ITAM, SPM, or other Service Now modules
- Experience mentoring teammates and promoting efficient coding practices
Compensation Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $ Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
