This is an on-site, part time, seasonal role for a Lifeguard located in Arlington, VA at Washington Golf and Country Club. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety of swimmers by supervising pool activities, enforcing rules, and providing immediate assistance during emergencies. Collateral tasks include maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, conducting regular safety inspections, and assisting with opening and closing duties.
You will also interact with members, providing excellent customer service and promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
- Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of water safety procedures
- Proficiency in CPR, First Aid, and AED usage (certifications required)
- Vigilance, quick decision-making skills, and effective response to emergencies
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail
