Receiving, processing and checking of merchandise to verify the correctness of the shipment against all documentation.;
Prepare documentation such as work orders, bills of lading and shipment orders to route materials.;
Verification and data entry of all incoming material shipments.;
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifest, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.;
Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting and recordkeeping purposes.
