Outbound Dock Worker

Outbound Dock Worker – Arlington, VA

Compensation: $22–$25 per hour (approx. $49.8 k per year). Full-time, on-site.

• Build “walls” of boxes inside empty semi–trailers, lifting, twisting, and stacking packages to maximize cubic volume and prevent shifting during transit.
• Operate heavy–duty manual pallet jacks and powered walkie–riders to transport large, shrink‑wrapped pallets weighing hundreds of pounds from staging lanes into outbound trucks.
• Enforce the “Circle of Safety,” ensuring all trailers are securely locked to dock doors with glad‑hands and wheel chocks before personnel or equipment enter the trailer.
• Prepare and load trucks so millions of packages are on board before dispatch cutoff times, meeting strict transportation partner schedules.
• Work safely in a rugged, industrial environment exposed to outdoor elements and continuously moving machinery.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
