A well-established food distribution company with more than 30 years of success is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join its leadership team in southeastern Virginia. This organization supplies a diverse portfolio to food manufacturers, commercial kitchens, distributors, and private-label customers, and has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

Partner with the Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Improve warehouse efficiency through process optimization, inventory accuracy, and workflow enhancements.
Help oversee equipment maintenance, staffing, scheduling, and operational reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding customer service and on-time delivery performance.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of warehouse leadership experience within food distribution, food manufacturing, or a similar environment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, and process improvements.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
