Accountant​/Bookkeeper

Our firm is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to work with a wide range of clients from our Smokey Point office. The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and be comfortable navigating Quick Books Desktop and Online software. You will be working with a diverse array of clients and must have meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of payroll processing and general accounting.

Candidates must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, accurate, and able to meet reasonable, regular deadlines.

The job is full time, on-site in Smokey Point (we are flexible with hours)

• Prepare Payroll and Quarterly P/R Tax Reports
• Utilize Quick Books Desktop/Online and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Prepare Department of Revenue reports.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for multiple companies across a variety of industries.
• General administrative support in the accounting office (answering phone calls, talking with clients, maintaining office organization, etc.).

• Previous experience in public accounting & bookkeeping is strongly preferred.
• Use of Quick Books desktop and online platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• This position involves managing multiple bookkeeping clients. Effective time management stills and timely delivery of financial reports are essential.
