Duties
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
  • Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems, including ADAS and automotive electrical systems.
  • Conduct wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and other precision tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle maintenance schedules and repair procedures to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
  • Proven dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience in a fast-paced automotive environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins for complex repairs.
  • Hands‑on experience with automotive diagnostics software and tools for troubleshooting electrical systems and powertrain issues.
  • Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and auto estimating software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of transmissions, diesel engine repair, welding techniques, and general vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with a commitment to delivering top-quality automotive service.
