POSITION TITLE:

Substitute Certificated Teachers

SALARY:
Arlington Public Schools Sub Pay Rate : $190.00 per day (7 hr = full day)

SCHEDULE:

7:30 am - 3:00 pm (middle and high school)

8:40 am - 4:00 pm (elementary)

These are on-call positions. The number of days or hours that a substitute works is

dependent upon the number of contracted teachers who are absent on any given day.

LOCATION:

District Wide

SUMMARY:

The Substitute Teacher will maintain a class environment favorable to learning and students' personal growth. This person will follow lesson plans prepared by the teacher and establish effective rapport with students and staff.

BENEFITS:
Benefits may be available for substitute employees who work 630 hours in a school calendar year. This may include Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Pension, VEBA, and 403(b).

* Are you presently charged with, but not convicted of, a crime? (Exclude civil infractions such as minor traffic citations). If yes, please explain the nature of the crime, place, date, and court. A pending criminal charge will not necessarily bar you from District employment.
