Overview
A specialized role is available for a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at an educational setting in Arlington, WA. This contract position requires 15 hours per week, with flexibility concerning the days worked. The assignment is set to begin immediately or in January and will continue through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support under the supervision of onsite Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs).
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on established treatment plans.
- Assist in documenting progress and maintaining student records.
- Collaborate with SLP supervisors, educators, and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and school policies.
- Valid SLPA license is required.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
