Overview

Records Management Specialist III.

Office Support. CGS is seeking an experienced Records Management Specialist to provide technical, management, and documentation support for a large Federal agency initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information services under the supervision of a Records Information Manager.
  • Assist in planning and program development, analysis of records or docket management problems, and design of strategies to meet ongoing records or docket management needs.
  • Perform specific technical duties which may include response to inquiries; collection maintenance and retrieval tasks; metadata review and input; equipment maintenance; and use of automated information systems such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS).
Qualifications
  • At Level III, the personnel must have at least three (3) years of records management experience.
  • Experience with at least one automated information system is required.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
