Job Description
Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record.
ABW is looking for intermediate and experienced welders who are motivated and take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.
ResponsibilitiesWelder candidates must be able to read and understand shop drawings. They will be required to fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision. All fit‑up and welds are inspected by in‑house and/or customer CWI's. ABW administers in‑house testing and certification. In addition to welder qualification testing, welders will be evaluated on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures.
Schedule/ Shift
Day shift:
Work four 10‑hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Overtime as required.
Employee regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasional requirement to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
QualificationsIntermediate and experienced welders. Must have 0‑3 years of FCAW welding experience.
