Welder - Swing Shift

Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record.

Shift Differential: $2.00 per shift for employees working this shift.

ABW is looking for intermediate and experienced welders who are motivated and take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.

Responsibilities: Candidates must be able to read and understand shop drawings, fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision. All fit-up and welds are inspected by in‑house and/or customer CWI's. ABW administers in‑house testing and certification. Welders will be evaluated on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures.

Physical Requirements: Must stand, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally. Must lift up to 50 pounds. Requires close vision and depth perception.

Compensation: Swing shift: four 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Thursday 4:30 pm‑2:00 am. Overtime as required.

Experience: 0–3 years FCAW welding, 0–3 years experience level.

Commute: Arlington, WA 98223 (Required).
