80 HRS PER YEAR Craftsman Arlington, WA, US

Salary Range: $27.00 To $36.00 Hourly

Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record.

Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for swing shift employees.

ABW is looking for intermediate and experienced aluminum and stainless steel TIG Fitter/Welders, who are motivated and take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.

Fitter/Welder candidates must be able to read and understand shop drawings. They will be required to fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision. All fit-up and welds are inspected by in-house and/or customer CWI’s. ABW administers in-house testing and certification. In addition to welder qualification testing, Fitter/Welders will be evaluated on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures.

Pay rates are based on the number of welding processes and qualified positions that welders are certified for and dependent upon weld test results at time of interview.

Swing shift:
Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm - 2:00 am.

Physical demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision and depth perception.
