Security Officer Patrol –
Arlington, WA
, Part‑Time.

As a part‑time security officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols that help deter security‑related incidents. In this people‑first role, you will stay visible, support a welcoming environment, and deliver strong customer service and communication.

• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help support orderly traffic flow for employees, guests, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy questions, and provide detailed shift activity reports as required.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• X‑ray screening experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
