Clarke Vehicare is hiring Technicians! Clarke Vehicare is currently looking for a skilled Fleet Mechanic/Truck Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs. This fleet consists primarily of Company Vehicles and Class 8 Trucks. • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractors, trailers, MHE, auto, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair all types of mechanical issues including engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, A/C, and more. Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW.
• Work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Available to work Monday-Friday.

• Moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting.
• Hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment experience strongly preferred.

• Valid driver's license.
• CDL a Plus or Able to obtain CDL.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card.
