We are currently seeking a Skilled Auto Mechanic with a deep passion for custom builds and classic vehicles. Located in the Smokey Point area, our shop is recognized as a premier destination in the Pacific Northwest, where we prioritize exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality results. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with interviews being conducted immediately.

Compensation:

$25-$40 per hour, depending on your experience.

Working Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Execute mechanical and bodywork tasks specifically tailored for custom projects and vintage automobiles.
  • Manage comprehensive mechanical services, including engine replacements, chassis modifications, wiring, and full-scale restorations.
  • Work alongside a group of specialists in areas such as upholstery, paint, metal fabrication, and bodywork to ensure project success.
  • Ensure every vehicle leaves the shop meeting show-quality standards to enhance our reputation for excellence.
  • Apply your existing professional expertise to hit the ground running, as this role does not include a formal training program.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience specifically within the hot rod, restoration, or custom vehicle industry.
  • Deep understanding of the unique systems found in classic cars and the intricacies of custom build workflows.
  • Provision of your own professional-grade toolset.
  • Capability to contribute effectively both as a solo technician and as a collaborative member of our shop team.
