Job Summary

R Local Delivery Driver – Class A or B (Open).

Location:

Arlington, WA. The delivery driver serves as the face of Airgas, safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, delivering, and returning cylinders while maintaining professional customer relations.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
• Make deliveries in a timely manner
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders
• Use a hand cart for deliveries on customer property sites (labor intensive)
• Frequent vehicle exit and return

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years, or proof of a trucking school completion within the last 12 months
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years (or a combination of one conviction and one accident)
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years
• Must work in a drug‑free environment
• Must be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material‑handling equipment

• Forklift experience

• Competitive pay:
  Class A – $28.50‑$35.25/hr (based on hazmat experience);
  Class B – $27.50‑$34.00/hr (based on hazmat experience). Pay does not increase after obtaining hazmat endorsement once hired.
• Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend duties
• Morning to late‑afternoon shift
