Met wie/waar?
Housing First helps people who have been long‑term homeless by providing a home and tailored support to rebuild their life. Within RIBW Arnhem & Veluwe Vallei a dedicated team follows this approach and is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer.
Wat ga je doen?
Every Thursday from 12.00 to 14.00 participants come to the drop‑in. You will welcome them, offer coffee or tea, prepare tosti and soup, and engage in friendly conversation. When a trusting relationship is established you may also support them with small practical tasks such as household repairs, giving you a chance to broaden your involvement.
Wat levert het jou op?
You will meet new people, gain networking experience, enjoy light physical activity and possibly discover new interests. Volunteers receive guidance, can attend training such as “Inleiding Psychopathologie”, access the Good Habitz online learning platform, and receive a Christmas package.
Wat vragen wij van jou?
We ask for your enthusiasm and a few hours per week. A specific education is not required; you should feel confident in yourself. We provide a free VOG (verklaring omtrent gedrag) for every volunteer.

RIBW Arnhem & Veluwe Vallei offers specialist psychiatric support to vulnerable people of all ages, helping them with living, learning, working and staying near home or in our facilities. As a volunteer you provide companionship, listening and support, contributing to lasting recovery and increased well‑being.
