To help us in our mission we are looking for an Account Manager New Energy for our offices in Berlin.

Job Description
As Key Account Manager you work at the heart of our business with our closest clients across the energy, automotive, retail and infrastructure sectors. You draw on the team’s support to help build and strengthen relationships with clients and partners. Every client has their own unique strengths; you help them find and activate those strengths, coordinate projects to overcome obstacles, and drive their growth in the competitive EV charging market.

We want to genuinely help usher in the era of emissions‑free mobility by building and nurturing meaningful partnerships. Any obstacle in that mission you remove.

You will work closely with the Sales, Operations and IT teams to help build an awesome product and ensure our clients achieve their goals. You’re part of an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within our team, with a common goal to improve our product and build out the company’s foundations. The tech is fascinating, you help shape it. If you have a better way of doing things, we want to hear it.

Responsibilities
1. Relationship building

Get to know the client, their position in the market, their strengths and weaknesses

Build trust by demonstrating expertise, helping them address pain points and identifying growth opportunities

Guide the client in their journey as an EV charging service provider

2. Project coordination

Coordinate a diverse range of strategic projects across internal and external stakeholders from tech to marketing to help each client grow

Organise and lead quarterly review meetings where you walk through the performance of the account and identify areas for improvement and growth

Ensure the contract with the client is being fulfilled and the SLA is upheld

3. Conversion & Upselling

Drive the conversion of a project’s potential to its realisation in the form of EV drivers actively using the charging solution

Pitch new features to our Product Management Board where needed to achieve your mission and shape our product concretely

Identify optional services Deftpower offers that improve both profitability of an account and client satisfaction

Job Requirements
We are looking for an Account Manager who wants to improve our customers’ lives and has the persuasion skills and grit to go deep. We would love to see somebody who is bold, goal‑oriented, a good relationship builder and gets things done.

Proven track record in B2B key account management, preferably in a non‑commoditised SaaS environment.

Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management platforms.

German and/or French language skills are a bonus.

Knowledge of the electric vehicle charging industry and associated technologies is a bonus.

Residence near Berlin or in the EU, prepared to relocate to Berlin; this is not a remote position.
