We're a growing commercial general contractor in Baltimore, and we're looking for a Project Engineer (or early-career Assistant PM) who wants more than a desk job. Someone who likes seeing a set of plans turn into steel, concrete, and skyline.

If you've ever walked past a building and thought, I helped build that, this role is for you.

What you'll actually do (not just "assist with stuff")

You'll be in the middle of the action, working alongside PMs and Supers to keep projects moving and organized:

• Support project managers from precon through closeout
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control
• Coordinate with subs, architects, and owners
• Track schedules and budgets
• Walk jobsites and solve real-world problems in real time
• Help keep projects on schedule, on budget, and built right

This isn't a coffee-and-copies role. You'll have real responsibility and a clear path to running your own projects.

What we're looking for

• 1-4 years of construction experience (internships count)
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred
• Comfortable reading drawings and specs
• Organized, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
• Field-savvy mindset with strong communication skills
• Someone who thrives in boots as much as spreadsheets
