Position SummaryThe School of Liberal Arts is looking for part-time faculty to teach Political Science courses. The position requires teaching in a face-to-face, in-person format during daytime hours on the Arnold Campus and experience with online learning management systems.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- Assess student progress toward learning objectives through formal and informal assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and meet all required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information.
- Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards, maintain appropriate professional conduct and ethics, fulfill the responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, and teach all scheduled classes.
- A master’s degree in Political Science or a related field.
- One year of experience.
