The Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Institute seeks part‑time faculty to teach between 1–3 classes in Homeland Security (HLS courses). Courses are offered in‑person at our Arnold campus, Glen Burnie Town Center, Arundel Mills, partnering high schools, and online (synchronous and asynchronous).

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Teach HLS courses
- Assess student progress in meeting learning objectives through formal and informal assessment
- Submit grades, attendance, and other required deadlines on time
- Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards
- Experience in Homeland Security relevant to HLS course offerings
- A master’s degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or a similar area
- Experience with the CANVAS learning management system is a plus

Only individuals who are residents of Maryland or one of the following states will be eligible for employment at the college:
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. The college will annually review this restriction and, if appropriate, expand the list of states of employment eligibility.
