Position Summary
We are building a pool of qualified part‑time faculty to support our continuing education and personal enrichment programs. Candidates will be contacted as needed each semester or term, based on student enrollment and program requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, semester‑based work with the potential for ongoing, recurring opportunities.
Programming areas include World Languages, Personal Enrichment, Fitness, Music and Arts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high‑quality lesson plans and hands‑on instruction to adult learners, whether on campus, off campus, or remote, in accordance with the college’s philosophy, policies, and guidelines.
- Engage in clear, professional, and timely communication with students, faculty, and staff to foster collaboration and support.
- Ensure prompt and accurate submission of grades, attendance records, reports, and other required documentation.
- Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System as needed to deliver instruction.
- Education and professional experience or certifications dependent upon position.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency using computers and classroom technology.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Proposals for new course content are welcome; reference proposals in cover letter.
