The Business Administration department is seeking part‑time faculty who can teach at least one face‑to‑face course in accounting (both financial and managerial courses, as well as potential upper‑level courses), beginning in the Spring 2024 semester. Familiarity with the Canvas Learning Management System is a plus.

Eligibilityand Work Authorization
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis. Employment‑based visa sponsorship (including H‑1B sponsorship) is not available for any position.
In the best interest of the College, only individuals who are residents of Maryland or one of the following states will be eligible for employment at the college:
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. The college will review this restriction annually and may expand the list of eligible states.
- Assess student progress in meeting course learning objectives through both formal and informal assessment.
- Hold in‑person or virtual office hours.
- Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information.
- Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.
- A master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, OR an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and at least two years of full‑time professional accounting experience.
- Previous experience teaching college accounting courses and availability to teach face‑to‑face or online synchronous courses during business hours (8:30–4:30).
