Total Hours Per Week: 40

Provides support to civil engineers in the design of projects consistent with the focus of the firm.

• Performs assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related civil engineering tasks.
• Assists in the preparation of improvement plans, visual aids, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for civil engineering projects consistent with the focus of the firm.
• Assists in the preparation of calculations and other supporting documentation for public and private projects.
• Participates in project team meetings and follows procedures outlined in Project Management Standards manual.

• Fluent English with reading, written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and other video conferencing software.
• Ability to collect and analyze data, apply problem solving skills to specific design tasks, develop creative solutions, work alone or as part of a project team, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills are essential for this position.

Required:

• Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred:

• Minimum of five (5) years civil engineering experience
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
