tolead and manage the City’s planning, zoning, building, and development functions. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping the growth and future of our community while ensuring excellent customer service, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with citizens, developers, and government agencies.

• Provideleadershipanddirectionforall Community Development  operations.
• Overseelanduse,planning,zoning,permitting,code enforcement,and inspections.
• Evaluatedevelopmentproposalsandprovideprofessionalplanningadviceto City leadership, boards, and commissions.
• Coordinatewithdevelopers,contractors,citizens,andpartneragenciestosupportresponsible growth and development.
• Administergrantprograms,including
  
  Community Development Block Grants  (CDBG).
• Attendandpresentat City Council ,Planning Commission,andotherpublic meetings.

• Bachelor’sdegree from an accredited college or university in p ublic or business administration,urban planning,or related field.
• Minimum of 5years’ e xperiencein public administration, community development, planning, or related work.
• Knowledgeofplanning,zoning,building codes,and development regulations.
• Abilitytoanalyzedata,prepare reports,andmakeeffective presentations.
