Caregiver Part Time

Overview

Home Well is looking for caring, dependable, and service-oriented individuals who are passionate about supporting others to live safely and comfortably  this role, you will provide non-medical personal care and companionship that enhances each client’s dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Caregivers assist with everyday activities, and help maintain a safe, welcoming home environment. Your support allows clients to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving the respectful, attentive care they deserve.

• Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with medication reminders
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring individuals
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment

• Experience caring for bedbound patients preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Experience with transfers
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
• Proficiency in meal preparation and following dietary guidelines
• Familiarity with direct support systems and protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and their families

Payrate: $18.00

Hours:

between 8a-8p (4-hour to 8-hour shifts)

Job Type: Part Time (that leads to Full-time based on performance)

Expected hours: 20-36 hours per week

• Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)
• Not required but preferred:
• Bed bound: 2 years
• Dementia Care: 2 years
• Hospice Care: 2 years
• Manual Patient Handling: 2 years
• Gait Belt

• License/Certification
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Car Insurance (Required)
• Reliable transportation (Required)
