What you’ll ownYou’ll operate with autonomy on complex, mission‑critical infrastructure — challenging problems and a team that trusts your judgment.
- Manage performance and efficiency of servers across multi‑OS environments
- Maintain data security, system integrity, and administrator accounts
- Design and implement high‑availability solutions: failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and Always On Availability Groups
- Own backup, restore, migration, and database snapshot strategies
- Optimize Oracle 19c and SQL Server for mission‑speed data access
- Monitor and manage SQL Server Agent alerts and jobs
- Build and maintain efficient table structures for both transactional and warehouse data
- Lead database migrations across MySQL, Postgre
SQL, and Oracle environments - Develop and enforce testing strategies, policies, and performance standards
- Advise end‑users on performance tuning and best practices
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant and emerging technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 5+ years of SQL database analysis and/or administration experience
- Hands‑on experience with failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and Always On Availability Groups
- Experience building and maintaining efficient table structures (OLTP and data warehouse)
- Experience with database backup, restore, migration, and snapshot technologies
- Experience monitoring, creating, and managing SQL Server Agent alerts
- S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning expertise
- Migration experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification
- Oracle database administration background

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $135-$140k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above‑stated range.
