Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I
STATUS: 8-hours per day, 260-days;
Non-Exempt
PAY CATEGORY: IT 1
REPORTS TO: Director of Data & Student Information
An Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I provides student information systems support for employees, parents, and students. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about helping people. Fox C-6 utilizes Infinite Campus and Spedtrack for student information services. Previous experience preferred, but not required.
Basic Function/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for data system users (staff, students and parents) via telephone and email.
- Assist in creation of user accounts, management of passwords, and establishment of permissions within the SIS system.
- Support school and district web-based applications, including online enrollment and data verification.
- Train district personnel on utilizing the SIS, including other supporting data systems and applications.
- Aid in the development of data connections and sharing rules between the SIS and external educational software vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
