Job Overview
LMC Industries, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Layout Technician to join our innovative team. Must have CMM experience.
Full‑time position. Perform product audits, evaluate production parts against color standards using a spectrophotometer, and conduct receiving inspections of incoming parts and materials according to written instructions. Coordinate movement of materials into containment, generate defect‑rate reports, audit parts from NCMRs, and conduct dock audits. Use traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges. Basic working knowledge of SPC is required.
Follow LMC Quality Management System and comply with the LMC Export Compliance Manual. Must be able to work in basic PC applications such as Excel, Word, and email.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background and four years of previous experience in a similar position
- CQT – Certified Quality Technician (preferred)
- Prior certification or experience in CMI or CRT (preferred)
- Proficiency with traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Computer literacy in basic software packages
One year of college offsets one year of experience. Previous experience, CQT, or CMI offsets two years of experience.
