Center Store Clerk - Richardson Crossing

Duties

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Sort damaged product for credit.
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.
• Maintain company productivity standards.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

Training will be provided at store level.

• Bending/stooping.
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour.
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees).
• Able to push loaded two‑wheeler (average 100‑120 pounds).
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds).
• Able to pull loaded stock truck.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working on feet entire shift (4‑8 hours).

• Internal Candidates:
  Store/Facility teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• Must have manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview.
