POSITION TITLE:

MAINTENANCE __ General

SCHEDULE:

260 days, 8 hours per day;
Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO:

Director/Asst Director Maintenance

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist in maintaining heating and cooling equipment for the district; perform general Maintenance duties in the district.

QUALIFICATIONS/

EDUCATION:

* Ability to read and write.

* Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor.

* Ability to perform daily tasks with minimum supervision.

* Ability to operate power equipment.

* Ability to work well with others.

* Ability to follow written directions.

* Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.

* Valid Missouri Driver's License.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Shall assist in the repair and install of all kitchen equipment such as stoves, freezers, coolers, ovens etc.

* Shall assist in the repair of existing and installation of new plumbing, gas, and electric service in buildings.

* Shall assist in the repair of old and installation of new underground gas, electric, water, and sewer lines.

* Shall have ability to operate backhoe, dump truck, lift truck, and other equipment to perform jobs listed above.

* Shall have ability to effectively communicate and work well with students, parents, support, and instructional staff.

* Shall perform duties assigned by supervisors.
