Role Overview

The Children and Families Department takes a strengths‑based approach to working with each other, children, young people and families, and our partner agencies. We call this 'Our Nottinghamshire Approach'.

Job location:

Gedling (Arnbrook Family Hub, Arnold, NG5 8NE
) and Rushcliffe (Bingham Family Hub, Bingham, NG13 8BE
).

What you'll do
  • Deliver one‑to‑one support and parenting programmes.
  • Work with partners across health, education & social care.
  • Empower families to thrive in their homes and communities.
What we’re looking for
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years’ experience with children & families.
  • Experience working with families of school‑aged children and teenagers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for meeting the holistic needs of families.

Flexible working across Family Hubs, family homes & community venues. Occasional evenings/weekends.
