We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Technician to join our client's reputable dealership in Nottingham. Duties of the MOT Technician
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete comprehensive vehicle health checks
  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and repaired to a high standard
  • Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out as theMOT Technician
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a busy workshop environment
Requirements of theMOT Technician
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
  • Valid MOT Tester licence is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
  • Previous experience within a main dealership is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Attention to detail with pride in your workmanship
  • Positive attitude and excellent team working skills
  • Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
